As a pitcher, walk the lead off batter intentionally. Pause the game and switch teams. You will now be controlling the runner at first. Press [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] Button a couple times to take a larger lead. Once you have done that, quickly switch teams again before the CPU has a chance to pick you off. Then as the pitcher, quickly select a pitch and the pitcher will come to a resting position then hit [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] + double tapping [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] for a quick move attempt to first base.
