Once you have reached a certain friendship with one of the NPC's in the town, they'll give you an item that looks like something you see during the levels (Angry Bee or a Raccoon for example). Go down into the basement in your house and you'll see these items spread across all of the tables. Bump into any one of these and you'll have the option to "Ban" it.
