This might have been done already, but if not here is my tutorial on how to mod the comment to have it really long or have multiple lines.

First open up ftp, and go to dev_hdd0>home>0000012/13/14/15(this will depend on your user you want to edit. users are in the same order they are on the XMB logon screen, top= 0000012.)

then click on friendim.

in friendim there is a file called mecomment.dat. Copy this onto your pc and open it in notepad.

IF YOU WANT ONE LONG LINE:

this is easy, just type in whatever, press enter to go to the next line down. the comment box is only capable of two lines.

IF YOU WANT BLACK TEXT BELOW YOUR USERNAME:

delete all text, then press enter 5 times, type in what you want to be in the white line, then press enter 6 times and type in what you want in the black line.

IMPORTANT: mecomment.dat CANNOT EXCEDE 63KB OR NOTHING WILL HAPPEN

When you are happy, ftp the file onto your PS3, overwriting your old one.

Sign out then in to see your new comment
