1.Find out your PS3 Firmware by going to settings>System information> It should say System Software if it is a 3.50 upgrade to 3.55 then download The 3.55 CFW or jailbreak i put in downloads if you are on 3.50 download the official 3.55 firmware i also put in downloads.
2.If you have a 3.55 Software your good to go now download the jailbreak extract it to your desktop Plug in your USB then make these folders inside PS3>UPDATE>PS3 Jailbreak goes here.
3.Plug your USB into your PS3 on 3.55 OFW now turn your PS3 on then go to System Settings>System Update>Update VIA Storage Media now the Jailbreak Update should be there Update to it and then once its done you now have a Jailbroken PS3 just go to Games were you launch games and it will say Install Package Files now follow the rest of the tutorials on installing PKGS plus more.
