Step 1: Slide the shiny top away from the console and lift off.

Step 2: Remove the Hard drive and caddy from the console. Now would be a good time to swap out that 500gb HDD for a nice solid state drive and speed up load times of installed games.

Step 3:Now you will need your T9 security screwdriver

First remove the T9 Security Torx screws which will allow access to the rest of the console.

Step 4: Once all screws are removed , you can remove the power supply.

Step 5: You now have access to remove the Blue Ray player.

Step 6: To get to the all important motherboard and fan you will need to remove the top panels first.

Step 7: Now remove the metal heat shields and you are almost done

Step 8: Once you flip out the motherboard you will have access to the fan! be aware the heat shield is very sharp.


Step 9:Now we are at the infernal fan!
