I don't know about you all, but for the first couple weeks I didn't know that there was an option to make your controller sleep on the PS4. While watching Netflix or the like, my controller would stay on and drain the battery while I watched shows/movies. But I found a way to get your Dual Shock 4 controller to sleep after a set amount of time

On the PS4 Dashboard, go to Settings, then down the list to Power Save Settings. From here, you are able to set the time for when your controller will automatically turn off after XX amount of minutes idle.
