Advance past the initial beachhead and take Sandman's advice to advance on the right flank; this leads you to a crashed USAF transport. Check the transport wreckage and you should find a laptop in the cockpit interior.

Go up the main boulevard and position the objective marker ahead of you. Around 50 game-meters from the spot where you are tasked to "regroup with the tank", you will encounter a small sheltered garden next to a building with black smoke coming out its side. The laptop is in this street corner garden (at 46 game-meters away from the "regroup" marker).

Locate the VP's convoy after the tank ride and you will enter a building called Teknikor Deutschland. Enter the building's "lobby" and inspect the cubicles to your right. You will easily find the laptop amongst the dwellings of office drones.
