4.5
FIFA 17 was announced today by Electronic Arts along with a release date of September 27th. They also revealed that the game will be made using the Frostbite Engine, marking another stepping stone to the publisher’s move to using only DICE’s in-house. When talking about the engine change, David Rutter, VP and Executive Producer of the game said:

“Frostbite unlocks a whole new world of possibilites for the FIFA franchise and its fans. We have never been as excited as we are today about the future of football and the experiences we are going to deliver with FIFA 17.”

People who pre-order the FIFA 17 Super Deluxe Edition can also get up to 40 FIFA Ultimate Team Jumbo Premium Gold Packs, Team of the Week loan players, and some other unrevealed FUT content. You can watch the reveal trailer below.

There will be a livestream covering the game at 1pm PST that you can watch here. FIFA 17 will be releasing for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on September 27th in North America, and on September 29th in the rest of the world.
