Gears of War 4 Multiplayer Beta gets Massive 6GB Update Before Launch

4.7
The multiplayer beta of Gears of War 4 officially launches tomorrow, but it has been open to press, developers, friends, family and contest winners since Friday night. Apparently The Coalition is getting ready for the floodgates opening with a first round of updates.

A mandatory update has been made available on the Xbox Live servers, and it’s a big one, weighing 6.3 gigabytes.

At the moment of this writing, the changelog is unknown, but if you’re getting the code tomorrow, you most probably won’t have to download the update, as it’ll be part of the initial download.

Probably an update on the servers before the vast amounts of users flooding in for the launch maybe? Maybe some tweaking on weapons and maps as well. Hopefully I get the code before class tomorrow and wait till after work and hope its downloaded by then.

Having a slow download speed really affects me playing my Xbox recently. Hope I get my code soon so I don't have to wait too long.

Probably weapon balancing and AI difficulty changes. Can't imagine what the rest would be.
