Black Ops 3 Awakening DLC free to play with Double XP this weekend

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Awakening DLC is free to play this weekend on PlayStation 4.

Starting Friday, April 1st at 10AM PT/1PM ET through Monday, April 4th 10AM PT/1PM ET, PS4 players who have Black Ops 3 installed can play on the multiplayer and zombies DLC.

Along side this, a Double XP weekend will be live on all platforms. The Double XP includes both zombie and multiplayer as well as Double Weapon XP.

Black Ops 3's second DLC pack is expected to be revealed sometime this week.

Are you dumb its free for the weekend. They're probably just doing it to try and get more people hooked on the dlc so they'll buy it after

He's doing it for a pointless badge in the forums section. That badge has made 95% of the comments on news articles either trash or flame material.

I've noticed that too. Like 80% of comments on news articles now is random shit that makes no sense really. Just annoying.

Not even playing the DLC will give me any interest in playing this dreadful game, zombies was ok, but even that was pretty bad. I may give it a go for zombies, but i guess we'll see, got better things i could be doing with that time, like sleeping, or painting shoes

Maj Pretty good idea, but i'd be annoyed if i payed for DLC and then others get to play it free...

They only get to play it for three measly days, as well as wait two extra months.

Daniel- I only play BO3 when it is Double XP but I'm not on PS4, Hopefully us Xbox One users gets Double XP soon.

It's all platforms only the free DLC preview is on PS4 this weekend
