Division sold more copies in 24 hrs than any game in Ubisoft’s history

The Division is doing rather well for Ubisoft.

It also set a new single-day company record for a full digital downloadable game across PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

“The launch of The Division is a tremendous achievement for Ubisoft, and demonstrates our unrivaled capacity to create fantastic new game brands and transform them into entertainment blockbusters,” said company co-founder and CEO Yves Guillemot.

“This is a momentous day for Ubisoft, but more importantly it marks the start of millions of players’ enduring engagement in The Division’s game world, which we are confident they will love.”

No concrete figures were provided, but the company will likely provide an estimate or at least a shipped figure once more sales information comes in from retailers.

From my experience playing The Division so far it is a great game. Almost everybody on my friends list has been playing this game too which is really cool. It's awesome that Ubisoft have been able to sell so many copies.

Definitely a great game by Ubisoft. Been playing it a bit on and off, on Xbox. Going to need to get it for PC to play it a little more.
