PS4 System Update 3.50 Gets Screenshots Showing Online Notifications

Today Sony Computer Entertainment announced the key features of PS4 system software update 3.50 “Musashi,” but the Japanese arm of the company went one step further, sharing the first screenshots via press release.

The screenshots are in Japanese, but they’re still very interesting. You can check them out below, labeled with each feature they portray.

With this update, you can be notified when members of your friends list sign on the network.

I love how Sony is handling the competition. They're continuing to develop the Playstation 4 into a great console. Only downside as stated would be the notification, but the ability to disable the notifications solves this issue.

Another notification that I will block when this comes out. PS4 notifications are in the way all the time, Xbox and Steam have it right, by having them at the bottom. I litrerally have no notifications on my ps4. It sucks because I want to be notified. But them in the way I turn the off.
