Capcom “looking into” adding Arcade Mode to Street Fighter 5

4.7
Arcade Mode is just one of the many features missing from Street Fighter 5, but at least Capcom is not saying no.

If you’ve been following Street Fighter 5 at all, you’ll have undoubtedly seen reviews lament its lack of content everywhere.

The game is, for the most part, designed for an online experience where players usually main one or two characters. This has led to the absence of a cinematic story mode, which is promised for June, big lobbies, and even an Arcade Mode.

Lacking an Arcade Mode means there’s no way for players to have a regular match against the CPU in a usual three-round game, which is bizarrely the case here. And Capcom has heard the complaints, thankfully.

The publisher told Forbes in a statement, “The team is looking into adding an Arcade Mode and we’ll have more information to share soon.”

Difficulty options for the game’s story prologue, are also being planned.

Street Fighter 5 is out now on PC and PlayStation 4.
