Double XP Weekend for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 players

A Double XP Weekend kicked off earlier this afternoon for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 players.

Earlier this week, the Awakening DLC for the shooter released on PlayStation 4. It came with four new multiplayer maps: Gauntlet, Splash, Skyjacked and Rise along with the new Der Eisendrache Zombie experience.

Along with the new DLC pack, a patch for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 was released containing many fixes, and other improvements.

PC and Xbox One versions of the Awakening DLC will arrive sometime in March once the PS4 exclusivity period is up.

Well, maybe hardcore players can take advantage. Personally I don't play when it is Double XP because of sweaty tryhards.

Double Weapon XP, not regular XP. Either way still a good way to get XP since you get XP for leveling your guns.

I'm pretty sure that this is just a double weapon XP rather than double XP.

Seeming that my second PS4 recently broke i will unfortunately not be able to take advantage of this. Double Weapon XP sounds rad though. Hopefully people take full advantage of it

Why don't they actually state that it's double weapon XP in the title, I have played about an hour or so of it upto now and may play some more later on.
