New Xbox One System Software Update in Preview

Microsoft has restarted its regular preview updates for the Xbox One system software, and they released a new version to preview members, numbered th2_xb_rel_1602.160118-1900.

Below you can read the patch notes, directly from the private preview forums:

HOW TO GET IT
If your console is in Instant-On mode and you were selected to receive the update, it will download and install the update and reboot to standby.
NOTE: Once the update is available to you (today a majority of Preview users will receive this update but a small group will not), you can manually begin the update by navigating to Settings > System and selecting System Update.
If your console hasn’t downloaded and installed the update by 1:00AM PST 1/23/2016, you will be prompted to do so at that time.

OS version released: th2_xb_rel_1602.160118-1900
Available: 6:00PM PST 1/21 (2:00AM GMT 22/1)
Fixes:
• Live TV
You should no longer encounter a black screen or no signal error when launching Live TV after resuming from connected standby (using either a USB TV Tuner or via HDMI-in).
• Quick Guide
The Quick Guide should no longer fail to launch when double pressing the Xbox button or navigating to the left on the dashboard.

UZl I need to become a preview member to take advantage of these updates

I had been wondering about that as well. But, then again I am not really a fan of super buggy updates and being a beta tester that doesn't get paid.. So...

Yeah but sometimes updates cause more updates because the updates mess things up lol.. It rarely happens

i don't really have a big problem with quick guide but if they wanna update it then oh well update it.

Nothing really effects me in this update but it is nice to know they keep updating. Had no problems with quick guide already.

One of the only things that really annoyed be with my Xbox One was it would never register my double tapping of the home button. Glad it's apparently fixed in the newest update.

Congenital Wait, how come only selected people can download the update for now?

because people like me are Xbox Preview Members. We get all the beta updates and we can give feedback but majority people just want so they can get the updates early. I myself am having a few glitches here and there but nothing too bad but gave feedback for it.

Pint Simple bug fixes, dont mind doing that

simple bug fixes which require a software update haha
