New Xbox One backward compatibility games announced

Microsoft has added 10 Xbox 360 titles to the Xbox One backward compatibility list. In addition to this, they are changing the release schedule for titles in the future.

Instead of releasing games monthly, they will start releasing titles as they become available. This means games will become available faster.

On top of this, Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners can download The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings for free on Xbox.com anytime between now and February 5th.

Here's the list of titles that were made available today:

  • Aegis Wing
  • Age of Booty
  • Counter-Strike: GO
  • Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad
  • Sam & Max Save the World
  • Skullgirls
  • Small Arms
  • Soulcalibur
  • Space Giraffe
  • The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

Same as me but only Call of Duty I want is WaW because MW2 will be just full of "trickshotters"


That's good though. Lots of free kills while kids are spinning around mindlessly hoping for that one lucky shot that comes once every hundred or so games.

A lot seem upset... Because they don't see call of duty? I agree I want those added too, but this has some solid games, the witcher 2 and soulcalibur are both really great games

List is pitiful but people need to understand that they need consent from the developers and publishers before they can allow BC on their game. Hope they work on Original Xbox BC soon.
