The Division: framerate unlockable on PC, graphics options leaked

4.5
The graphics options for The Division offer plenty of customisation and tweaking for PC players.

Last week at a press event Ubisoft went into detail on its forthcoming online shooter. The PC version, developed in association with Red Storm, is not a port, and will feature an unlockable frame rate.

Over the weekend a new video emerged of the PC version of the game being played on low settings, also revealing the full list of graphics options. Those videos have since been pulled, but the options have been forever preserved on Neogaf:

PC Version Video Options:
Vsync (on/off)
Frame Rate Limit (on/off)
Shadow Quality
Shadow Resolution
Spot Shadow Count
Spot Shadow Resolution
Contact Shadows
Post FX AA
Temporal AA
Sharpen Image (%)

Sub-surface Scattering
Anisotropic Filtering
Parallax Mapping
Ambient Occlusion
Depth of Field
Object Detail (%)
Extra Streaming Distance (%)
Chromatic Aberration (on/off)

Vignette Effect (on/off)

The Division is due for release on March 8 on PC, Xbox One and PS4. A closed beta for the game kicks off from January 28.

I haven't seen a lot of games with this many options, this would be nicer on a game that has nicer in-game aesthetics.

It's great to see that this game has so many options for the PC. It's far too often that you see games having very limited options in terms of performance.

wow.. that's a ton of options

TaylorPosted:

That's a lot of different options. Ill just be buying it on Xbox One because my PC would probably die if I tried to run this.

PintPosted:

Wish I had a good enough PC to run this, will have to stick with Xbox One.

So many variables dam, hopefully a lot of people can figure it out.

A lot of graphical options to suit your gameplay, nice!

Good, this game is gonna be a bitch to run and an even bigger one to get the graphics stable.

Glad about the options though.

Thinking about pre-ordering the xbox one version of this game very soon. Looks like a sick game.

These unlocked settings will make the game much more enjoyable for PC users.
