So much so, Xbox boss Phil Spencer has said if you plan on buying one, you better hurry.

Speaking with fans on Twitter, Spencer revealed demand of the controller have “has exceeded planning,” which means the controller may no longer be in stock at your local retailer.

“We are working to get more in stock, sorry they’ve been so hard to find,” he said. “It’s tough as I don’t want to over promise. If you find one and you want it, pick it up, sorry.”

Early last month, Microsoft said stock of the $150 Xbox One Elite Controller would hit retailers weekly through November, but “supplies may be limited” until early December.

The controller is available through third-party sellers on Amazon, with a high markup obviously. Amazon noted that “due to high customer demand,” orders shipped from and sold by the company placed now are “unlikely to be delivered until Spring 2016.”

It is also sold out through GameStop’s online store and when we checked stock with our local stores, there wasn’t one available within a 100 mile radius.

I didn't think there would be such demand considering the amount of people who play xb1 and aren't phased by the price tag. I better get my act together, now.
