Xbox 360 Games With Gold Will Appear on Xbox One at NXOE Launch

4.4
We know that future Xbox 360 games handed to Xbox Live Gold subscribers via Games with Gold will be backwards compatible, and some of the past ones will be as well, but how will it work? And when will they be made available? Xbox and Windows Platform Director of Program Management Mike Ybarra had the answer today.

Dirt3, which has just been made available among the Games with Gold, will be backwards compatible, but if you are a preview member, don’t expect it to appear on Xbox One just yet, you’ll have to wait for the official launch like everyone else.

Ybarra also mentioned that there are “complications” in adding Xbox 360 games to the Xbox One marketplace, but he would still like to, so there’s hope.

Ultimately, you can still buy them from the website, so it’s not really a big deal. Backwards compatibility launches with the New Xbox One Experience on November 12th.

What does this mean for achievements?

Does that mean I'll be able to get all of the achievements again, on Xbox One? Or will the program recognize that I had them unlocked on Xbox 360?
