Black Ops 3 on PC will require 60GB of space

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 listing on Steam has been updated to reflect the amount of available hard drive space players will need to play Black Ops 3 on PC.

Players will need 60 GB of space to download the game. Treyarch revealed the minimum specs for the game earlier this year, which can be found detailed below.

  • OS: Windows 7 64-Bit / Windows 8 64-Bit / Windows 8.1 64-Bit
  • Processor: Intel® Core™ i3-530 @ 2.93 GHz / AMD Phenom™ II X4 810 @ 2.60 GHz
  • Memory: 6 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 470 @ 1GB / ATI® Radeon™ HD 6970 @ 1GB
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Hard Drive: 60 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 launches November 6th on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.

I'm glad I just got another external hard drive I see that I will need it


Pretty standard for all triple A titles these days.


That's a fair amount, seems to be the newish standard now of days for games.


About the same it took to download Call of Duty: Ghosts.


Lockett Well, it's a relief I'm not getting it on PC.

60 gigs is hardly anything. I have 2 4TB drives and two 500gig ssds. Storage is cheap and 60 is nothing. Around the same as consoles. GTA V is well over 60.


60GB ffs that is a lot . But I'm on Xbox one so it will be sick hype is real


60GB wtf why so big, cannot wait for it if im being honest.


Quite low for minimum requirements and 60GB is about the average for a game nowadays.
