Halo 5 Is Not Coming To PC, "Being Made Exclusively For Xbox One"

PC gamers, don't get you hope too high as Microsoft has clarified once and for all that Halo 5: Guardians will remain a Xbox One exclusive title, it won't arrive on PC at all. The clarification came from Aaron Greenberg via Twitter. Speaking to a friend on Twitter, Aaron stated that: "This is not true. The game is being made exclusively for Xbox One."

Earlier today, 343 Industries' O'Connor stated that they are a plenty of chance of Halo 5: Guardians coming to PC, and it wouldn't be the hardest thing to port the game from Xbox One to PC considering the fact that it is developed on an INTEL platform. The full statement of O'Connor reads:

"You know, Microsoft has made a huge commitment trying sort of… I think normalize the Windows experience across multiple platforms. You see the elements of Windows 10 are going to appear in Xbox and Cortana and stuff like that. There are plenty of chances that Halo 5 could appear on the PC. Nothing to announce at this point… you know, we developed the game on an Intel platform. It wouldn't be the hardest thing in the world to move it to PC and take advantage of PC stuff. But nothing I announce today on this chat"

Doesn't matter to me too much. They'll port the collection over at some point in time so I'm not worried.

I really think it would be a horrible move on Microsofts end to make it for the PC. This is the Xbox's biggest game making it a great bargaining chip for people to buy the Xbox One.

Don't understand why they would want to give it away. Unless they made it cross platform.

Halo died after Reach, so I am glad I won't be getting this piece of junk.

First of all pc mustard race..... and second of all they have not made a single halo on pc other than the Russian made one that they prob dont even know about. So this is not surprising by the least.

Both halo combat evolved and halo 2 were on PC.

Considering that MS and 343 could make the money back easily spent on porting the game to PC, I really don't see why they wont bring it to PC.

I agree with you there but halo 5 still looks great I mean shit won't take much to beat h4 campaign was the only thing I enjoyed on that game.

Exclusivity doesn't make sense between Xbone and PC - It's not like it would require lots of extra development.

Would love to get a statement on why they wont release it.

are you dumb? Halo Combat Evolved was made for Pc and has been the only halo ever for it.
