Star Wars: Battlefront’s PC Specifications and File Size Revealed

EA revealed Star Wars Battlefront’s PC specifications through the game’s Origin page.

The requirements aren’t that high, and I am glad it doesn’t need a really fast internet connection. It will need a “512 KBPS or faster Internet connection.” In addition to that, Star Wars Battlefront will take around 40 GB of your hard disk, so you might need to free up some space.

Here are the minimum and recommended PC specifications:

Minimum PC System Requirements

OS: 64-bit Windows 7 or later
Processor (Intel): Intel i3 6300T or equivalent
Memory: 8GB RAM
Hard Drive: At least 40 GB of free space
Graphics card (NVIDIA): nVidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB
Graphics card (ATI): ATI Radeon HD 7850 2GB
DirectX: 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalent
Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection<

Recommended PC System Requirements

OS: 64-bit Windows 10 or later
Processor (Intel): Intel i5 6600 or equivalent
Memory: 16GB RAM
Hard Drive: At least 40 GB of free space
Graphics card (NVIDIA): nVidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB
Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB
DirectX: 11.1 Compatible video card or equivalent
Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection<

Star Wars Battlefront is set to launch on November 17 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC, with the Beta starting on October 8th.

Quite annoying to see an internet speed requirement. Back home, my download speed is barely above the requirement. If it were to drop below the requirement, does this mean I won't be able to play properly?

You can get 1000GB for around £30, why complain?

40GB isn't that bad at all. Games have hit almost 70GB on my HDD with the DLC installed.

I was expecting bigger tbh.

slapshot101 Thats pretty slow internet, show make for smooth online experience if that is all that is required. It seems like its a pretty graphics intensive game, should be pretty nice, I am curious if it will look better on the PC then the PS4. Really excited about the beta, I am wondering why it's so much bigger on the PC, better graphics?

The file size is the same on all systems?
