Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee is Free Right Now on Steam

From now until September 24, 10:00 AM Pacific, Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee is free on Steam and ripe for the picking. All you need to do is have Steam installed and add it to your account by hitting the “Play Game” button. This deal is in conjunction with another one for the Oddworld series; until September 25, Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty is 50% off its original price. That brings the newer remake to $9.99 for anyone that was thinking of picking it up as opposed to the free original.

Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee is a puzzle platformer originally released on the PlayStation back in 1997. It received the sequels Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus, Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee and Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath. Meanwhile, Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty released as a “ground-up remake” last year.

I don't know whether the people commenting on its graphics are serious or not... It's from 1997 you fools, of course it doesn't look amazing.

If you want a graphics upgrade, go look at New 'n' Tasty.

On topic, cool to see this is free. I already have it, as well as the rest of the entire Oddworld series. Absolutely love the games.

I haven't played this one but I loved Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee.

I had this game on the original xbox. It was an amazing game back then.
