GTA 5 has shipped over 54 million units

During its earnings report today, Rockstar and 2K parent company Take-Two revealed that GTA 5 has shipped 54 million units. The quarter, which ended June 30, saw sales of over 2 million units for GTA 5 alone – judging by last quarter’s sales.

GTA 5, GTA Online, NBA 2K15, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, and WWE 2K15 were the company’s biggest revenue drivers. Take-Two’s revenue climbed a whopping 142% to $366.4 million, compared to $151.6 million for the same period last year.

This translates to $34.2 million in profits for this quarter, which is over treble the money it lost over the same quarter last year.

Not that surprising to be honest. GTA V is/was a huge hit and will continue to be as long as people keep playing it.

Not surprised if im honest, i think everyone knew GTA 5 was going to be a big money maker, WWE 2K15 was also very good so good for 2K

Arzua Can't wait to see what GTA 6 does like.


I have no doubt its going to be another city but with more and updated stuff or they might take a saints row turn for the better.

Hei It sucks that the Online for PC is full of modders with godmode, and messes with innocent players in the most annoying ways, like force suicide and killing with jet gun explosive rounds from their guns.


There are plenty of modders on Xbox also. Just yesterday I was in a game and a guy was teleporting and killing me, he also had god mode.


Good thing I moved to the Xbox One.
