Official Xbox One 2TB external drive launches this month

Microsoft has announced the first official 2TB external drive for Xbox One, following on from the April firmware update supporting just such hardware.

Destructoid reports the USB 3.0 external HDD will go for $110 in the US, and is releasing later this month.

Although this is the official peripheral, it’s ben produced in partnership with Seagate.

i have literally the same hdd, just the seagate branded one and yes people will use them up.with the external 2tb and internal 500gb, i have a touch over 1tb left and will prob need another hdd in about a year.

jdog876 biggest waste of microsoft's time. People, you can also go to best buy or any computer store and buy a 4tb external drive for at least the same price and have more memory. so don't buy this just buy a regular external drive that's cheaper.


That's true. Xbox seems to be shoving everything into it with the updates just to keep up haha.
