Rocket League Patch v1.03 Will Punish Those Who Quit Ranked Matches

The patch notes for v1.03 of Rocket League have been posted to Steam detailing various updates and additions that will come to the popular sports/car game, the patch released July 31, 2015 for Steam and PS4. Rocket League will be free with PlayStation Plus until the next Store update on August 4.

Quick Chat can be used cross-platform between PS4 and PC
Stat tracking online is now correct
AI Bots adjust skill level to average skill level of all players in-game
First player to quit a ranked match is banned from matchmaking for 15 minutes
“Far, Far Away” trophy is now unlockable via online play
“Virtuoso” achievement can now be obtained
“Cherry Top” Topper has rotating light, “Propellerhead” has rotating blade
Steam version has support for more resolutions
“Freeplay” allows unlimited boost
Win/Loss ratio now shown as “Win %“
Various country flags have been fixed

I really don't see why people like this game but I guess it's just not my type of game regardless of this it's nice to see them punishing people who do this as I hate people who quit ranked games in CS.

That is good. People who leave in ranked matches should receive a consequence. To anybody who plays this, is there a match type like online single matches in FIFA where you can play a random match with people without having to be ranked?
