Windows 10 global rollout is underway

4.7
Windows 10 is rolling out in each time zone as midnight of July 29 ticks over.

With the beta testing period over, Windows 10 is now becoming available as a free upgrade for anyone currently using Windows 7 or 8. Users can request the upgrade by clicking the Windows logo at the right of their taskbar. More information is available on Microsoft’s upgrade page.

Microsoft’s strategy is to get Windows 10 onto as many computers as it can, and to unite everyone with a single operating system.

For Xbox One users, the most significant change for Windows 10 may be the ability to stream Xbox One games to PC and Microsoft tablets. Microsoft is working on making the opposite possible, too. Beyond this, Windows 10 will also introduce Game DVR and cross-device play capabilities.

DeluxeHazard All I have heard about Windows 10 is all the issues with it. People should have been smarter and waited a bit until most of the bugs were resolved.

I'm surprised, because I haven't had any problems yet. Weird.
