Xbox One System Software Update in Preview Fixes Headset Issues

Microsoft made a new update to the Xbox One’s system software available for download to preview members, continuing on the track of implementing minor, non user-facing changes with a quick iteration, and fixing an issue with the Turtle Beach Elite 800X headset.

Below you can read the patch notes, courtesy of Program Manager Emily Hanson on the private preview forums:

DETAILS
OS version released: xb_rel_1508.150719-2200
Available: 6:00PM PT 7/22 (2AM GMT 23/7)

CHANGES
Turtle Beach Elite 800X Headset Fix: Participants using this headset may have been unable to hear the host when moving from one party to another party. This update contains a fix for this issue.
Minor changes (non-user facing)

KNOWN ISSUES
Xbox Live Disconnection Issues: We are aware a small number of users may be experiencing disconnection issues, requiring a hard-reboot to reconnect. The team is working on a fix for a future update.
Xbox Fitness: When resuming from Instant-On mode and with Xbox Fitness suspended, you may encounter a frozen Kinect preview image, and Kinect interaction will not resume.Workaround: Hard reboot the console.

Xbox headsets are really cheap and mine usually break fast.

Never investing in any more "more powerful headsets." Every one i've ever had have had problems with it.

how about the issue with the headset that comes with the friggn console. if it comes unplugged half way it freezes all mic functions till restart. has been this way since xb1 came out i have bought 3 mics and control and consoles they all do it. some more then others but it happens on all none the less.
