PS4 Owners Campaign For A Better PSN

4.8
People exaggerate a lot when it comes to the PlayStation Network, but there's absolutely no doubt that the service could be better. You may recall that earlier in the year we reported on a movement among users regarding the demand for a Better PSN – well, the initiative hasn't fizzled out. Fans have created a new website in which ideas can be shared, rated, and promoted on social media. It's all very Web 2.0, and should prove a useful tool for Sony if it gets enough use.

At the time of typing, the most demanded PlayStation 4 feature is the ability to appear offline, which strikes us as a minor thing. We like the sound of the second highest rated suggestion, however, which requests improved user profiles capable of displaying wishlists and gameplay statistics. Other highly placed ideas include increased cloud storage space – an absolute must – and login notifications.

The big question is: what do you think would make for a better PSN? Think big in the comments section below.

ZTG I really want the appear offline, just to avoid some people.

Didn't even know they didn't come with that feature. Really curious as to why.

NBC If only sony had learned from the social failure of the Ps3...

You would think, they need to provide a better user experience..and still they have not done that.

PSN is good but I do agree it does need a few tweaks and added things. Like a simpler home screen, more profile options etc

Tiffanyyy In my opinion the ps4 was a massIE let down compared to the ps3, the next gen IEa captivated the imagination of so many hardcore gamers and lead them to think/believe the new releases would blow anything out the park including the newer PC's!

But no Sony held back everything releasing very little to the customers that paid the over prIEd value for the console!, all you basically get is a console that sounds amazing with a built in blue ray DVD and a massIE 500GB hard drIE... To then find out simple patches and game installs take up a huge chunk of the hard drIEs disk space before even purchasing any DLC!

Compatibility issues with head sets and other equipment IE some TV's, sound bars and devIEs!, slow updates to rectify the problems and very little released with the firmware updates.

LimIEd choIE for games and controllers that die so quick!

Over prIEd plastic box and very disappointing!

LIE i said in my opinion.

Do you even English? Are you writing it in Internet Explorer?

They do need to have such a simple and easy feature! Also they need to work on their servers as they get attacked so easily as we have seen in the past years

I Honestly haven't had that many issues with the ps4. Sure it went down a lot around the release time, but after that it rarely goes down. Yea some of those small features would be nice but it's not "killing" system without it. That and the hard drive, but they did make it so you can swap it easily.
