Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will be free with Xbox One consoles

Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will be available bundled with Xbox One consoles as a free pack-in.

Selected retailers will offer the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Xbox One bundle from August 25.

You can already pre-order the bundle from the Microsoft store for $350 – the regular RRP for a 500GB unbundled console.

It includes a 500GB console, a controller, a 14 day Xbox LIVE Gold trial, a download code for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, access to the Gears 4 beta and a skin for Cole.

Somewhat mysteriously, Microsoft told Polygon the bundle is only available “while supplies last” – even though the bundled product is digital. Odd.

The deal was revealed at at San Diego Comic-Con today, during a panel led by The Coalition boss Rod Fergusson. Gears of War: Ultimate Edition launches on August 25.

14 day trial? They are getting cheaper and cheaper. I remember when most games used to come with 1 months.

Why would the game be $150 ? It's $40, plus it's pretty common the highest they put a game is always $60, unless its like a special edition copy.

not really whne u have a normal 350$ 500 gb then a bundle with 1TB hard drive and a brand new game with a updated controller with a reskin as well as the console

The game is worth $40 not $150.

This is awesome. I wanted to play the Beta so bad, low on money ATM to buy a Xbox One though. Hopefully get it some day.
