Destiny’s next expansion is The Taken King according to Red Bull

4.5
Red Bull may have inadvertently confirmed Destiny’s September expansion as The Taken King a bit earlier than planned.

According to an image posted on the Australian PlayStation community page of MMGN, a Red Bull case notes a redeemable code inside the box which will grant the purchaser extra experience points (thanks, Reddit).

Obviously, despite how legitimate the images look, we’ll wait on Activision and Bungie to provide further confirmation. Even if the images do look like they were taken and leaked by distribution employee.

Another image of the box notes you can also become “legend” with MLG player Michael Chaves, aka Flamesword.

Earlier in May, a trademark for The Taken King popped up after an expansion schedule leaked showing the next big update was coming under the codename Comet.

The latest expansion to Destiny is House of Wolves and it released on May 19.

Might borrow a friends Destiny game to try it out, I've heard mixed reviews on it.

Sounds like it's going to be focused around the Cabal. Great... I'm hiding under my covers until it's over.
