Remastered Halo 3: ODST will not be released this Friday

Earlier today a listing popped up on the Xbox store with a May 29 release date for the ODST campaign in the Master Chief Collection. Apparently, the listing was a balls up.

The tweets came from the Halo account on Twitter, no doubt prompted by the coverage of the listing that was spotted on the Xbox store for the campaign that had a release date of this Friday.

Aside from nipping that idea in the bud, no more info has surfaced on how much the ODST campaign will cost for those players who aren’t getting it free as a reward for enduring the rocky launch issues.

We’ll keep you posted if we get wind of a confirmed release date.

Sanctyy Never been a Halo fan, probably never will be. I've never really seen the appeal in the game, it just looks so boring IMHO and every time I've played it, I've got so bored of it so quickly.

If you played halo during its golden years you would of loved it man, shame you didn't though.

I agree. I tried with Halo 3 numerous times, just not my type of game. Weird cause I like Destiny which is kind of similar.

I've tried playing a few different Halo's and just never enjoyed it. Same with Destiny for me though
