Black Ops will “exceed expectations,” is Treyarch’s best game

Treyarch’s 2010 Call of Duty effort will “exceed expectations,” community boss Josh Olin promises.

While admitting there will be heavy competition from the likes of EA’s Medal of Honor and Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon: Future Warrior (now delayed to 2011), Olin expects Call of Duty: Black Ops to “stand out in true Call of Duty fashion” and “ratchet up the bar one step further”.

“Every Call of Duty game has ratcheted the bar up for the next one, and we’re just ratcheting up the bar one step further. I think Black Ops is going to exceed expectations. This game is going to be huge.”

He added: “We’re always trying to make the best game we can possibly make, and with Black Ops it really is the best work we’ve ever done.”

The game’s out worldwide on November 9.

i think tesco or asda will relese it early bcoz wen mw2 was comming november i was in asda and i saw a coppy of mw2 and i bought it and then they realized that they realesed it a month early buut i still got it haha

i have a strong feeling this is gunna end up like MW2, they release it either early or on time WITH OUT a beta test, allowing jtags to **** the shit out of it

Anything where you can self drive/operate vehicles is a FAIL. It just encourages n00bs and sh**e players to just always jump in them and stuff. We'l see...

Treyarch could pull this one out the bag this time round seen as its 'listened' to previous players opinions and suggestions.

I think that this game will put out MW@ since you can't really camp on Treyarch's maps as much as Infinity Ward's. I think that this game has all the potential it needs to beat out Medal Of Honor. I have never even played a First Recon game so not sure about that. Theese are just my opinions.

They are still deciding on Open Beta

And I think it's pretty easy to take out vehicles, jus need less stupid peeps on team that jus runs into the vehicles face and gets pooped on instead of pulling out something to take it out.

I'm lookin forward to CoD7 :)

True, but a lot of my friends aren't gonna buy this at all now. They also used to love CoD4 but they've been completely put off by MW2.
I'm looking forward to this. Treyarch have a better attitude than IW.

For some reason MW2 had A HUGE hype, and it failed because it never lived up to the god among video games people set it out to be.. With black ops the bar is set low... very low... infact MW2 has made the community a little sensitive about content for future call of duty games... so in general. MW2 put the standard low, and all black ops needs to do is whoo a few people to make a splash.
