Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition Xbox One Console Is Coming

343 Industries Studio Head Josh Holmes has confirmed with curious Halo fans that an unannounced Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition Xbox One console is indeed in the works for launch later this year.

He shared the news on Twitter earlier today:

@juliocurt There is a limited edition console coming, yes. It hasn’t been revealed yet, but it’s pretty sweet. :)

Multiple editions of the game itself were announced late last year, including the Standard Edition for $59.99, the Limited Edition for $99.99, and the Limited Collector’s Edition for $249.99.

The Limited Edition is said to include additional digital content as well as a uniquely designed steel book while the Limited Collector’s Edition will also throw in a commemorative numbered statue designed by 343 Industries.

More specific details on each edition are expected in the coming months. Halo 5: Guardians launches on October 27 for Xbox One.

JRMH I get sick of seeing the same thing every year lol. It's just Microsoft using the most popular games in order to try to pick up sales, and the people that buy them think that the 25 cent decals that are put on the console are worth the extra $50 you pay for it. I get that you get the game with it, but you can customize the console yourself for less, and it's better because not 30,000+ people have the same thing, lol

Bought the MCC xbox one today took me over 6 hours to download the game. I thought it came with a hard copy. Stupid as hell

Just another thing that Microsoft is trying to show off their exclusive. Still not buying it, beta was too horrible for me to even attempt buying it. But that's just my opinion.

I don't see how it would be a surprise that such a huge franchise such as Halo would release a limited edition version of the console, especially since Halo 5 is so incredibly hyped up.
