GTA 5 PC mods: falling whales, North Yankton unlocked

So how are those GTA 5 PC mods coming along?

Quite nicely if we take a look at a batch of new mods for the game. It seems the community is having a fair bit of fun accessing restricted content and messing around with the local wildlife.

Let’s start with a look at what happens when you pick up and drop a whale around Los Santos:

Here’s North Yankton unlocked and playable:

If you’re a car modding fan, you’ll want this for hydraulics and working indicators:

This SweetFX mod makes colours more vibrant, sharper details:

And here’s a cat going on a rampage with petrol bombs:

Spawning Heist vehicles in single player using the Trainer mod:

And of course, a little zombie apocalypse:

A couple of these were already done on console, but okay.

But there's already more on PC in a matter of a month, but okay.

I'd rather play the game legit without using mods..... Play the game how it's made ffs

Nothing wrong with having a bit of fun, I do not play PC, however.. I have cheats on but ONLY after completion of the story, gives me something to do!

Why? If we paid for the game we should be able to play it as we see fit. I know console players are use to their locked down systems and games, but there is no reason we should have to stick with that whole "conform to society and don't try to be different hurrr!" mentality you've got going on.

That's like saying, I bought a gun and should be able to shoot up a school just cause I don't wanna be the same! Can't trust the legitimacy of pc smh good thing rock star is putting people in the cheaters pool for this.

That is the dumbest and no doubt the worst comparison I've ever seen in my life. I don't know where you're pulling your bullshit from, but Rockstar said early on they have no issues with these types of mods nor will they ve putting people in cheaters pools for this. You should also probably go check the definition of cheat(er).

Mickers Mods like the Whale make me want to game on PC.

There's some for Skyrim that change the Dragons to Whales.

That's a terrible comparison.
Mods make the game more fun. Sure, there are some game breaking mods, but there are mods that actually improve the game. People don't deserve to be in the cheater pool for making their game experience better. Especially if someone "completes" the game and wants to make things better.

Thousands of games on Steam have mods. Are you saying it's wrong, even when majority of developers support it and encourage users to create mods?

Yes, okay. Literally like going on a murderous rampage killing kids in real life, basically the same thing.
That has got to be the stupidest argument of the "console vs pc" to date.
