While plenty of new content released as part of GTA Online’s Heists update has passed over to free mode, it seems one big location won’t be a permanent fixture.

Players have been asking/hoping for the aircraft carrier from the Humane Labs mission to become a permanent location in free mode.

But a new leaked email – supposedly meant only for internal communication at developer Rockstar Games – seems to confirm the aircraft carrier will not be available for general play.

While it’s not possible to confirm the legitimacy of the leak, it does come via GTA Online community members who have previously correctly leaked new t-shirts as well as details of the Flight School update.

Certainly, daily GTA Online players are taking the email as proof. And as the aircraft carrier hasn’t yet opened up in free mode it seems fair to assume it’s not going to happen.
