GTA V PC launch delayed to April 14th

4.6
Grand Theft Auto V for PC will be arriving on April 14th as announced by Rockstar Games today. The PC launch was originally dated for January 27th before a delayed that was pushed to March 24th. This delay is to "ensure that the game is as polished as possible, and to make certain that both Heists and the GTA Online experience are ready to roll out on day one for PC." Anyone who pre-ordered the game will be getting an additional $200,000 for use in GTA Online.

"GTAV for PC will be arriving on April 14th at retail and as a digital download. Our apologies to PC gamers worldwide who have been counting down the days until the launch of the game, but a bit more time is needed to ensure that the game is as polished as possible, and to make certain that both Heists and the GTA Online experience are ready to roll out on day one for PC. As a gesture of thanks for your understanding, we will grant anyone who has pre-ordered the game an additional $200,000 in-game cash for use in GTA Online." - Rockstar Games

It's fine.

When it comes out we can all rage about how bad i is. Because if it's anything less than perfect, Rockstar can consider never marketing to PC Again. We will Boycott anything else they make. 3 Major Delays.

I wanted my game back in 2014 when the game was originally meant to come out. People telling us to be patient please realise that they shouldn't tell us that the game is going to be out too early, they should allow themselves time and also that almost any other games studio would not get away with this amount of delay!

Rockstar are a joke the amount of times they've delayed stuff the past year is ridiculous!

Beet Probably to get the bs DRM ready. Look most of us pc gamers are just gonna wait 2 months anyways for a steam sale because we dont want to pay full price for a 2 year old game.

It's to make it run better. Are you really gonna bitch about everything they do? Do you HONESTLY want them to release another GTA IV? You're not entitled to shit, just like the rest of us.

I was talking about 3rd party DRM that they are likely adding. This makes the game very irritating and sometimes unplayable. Just look at Uplay. The Rockstar Social club was bad in GTA 4 and most PC gamers do not want it in GTA 5 but they likely will. Also Rockstar has a long history of not respecting us PC gamers that goes far back. Now that they have delayed the game I think a total of 4 times the hype is gone. Also like I said many PC gamers do not want to pay $60 for a two year old game and would rather wait a few months for it to go 40% off or more on a steam sale. That is what I plan on doing and I have more than 200 games in my Steam library to entertain me in the meantime.

Miss People should not be complaining about this at all, especially if you've spent $800+ on a PC. I'd definitely want the game to be as near perfect as possible if I spent that kind of money.

Yeah and I didnt pay $800+ to wait for a game to be delayed more and more.

Let's be real you payed $800 to pay Minecraft most likely. Be patient.
