Microsoft Store lists The Elder Scrolls Online for February 24 release

The Microsoft Store has The Elder Scrolls Online down for a February 24 release on Xbox One.

The listing, noticed by Massively, could be a placeholder, but it is rather specific – and on a Tuesday which is when 99% of games are released in North America.

TESO was originally slated to arrive on PS4 and Xbox One in April 2014 alongside the desktop versions.

It was delayed to June 2014 before being pushed into late 2014.

Back in December, game director Matt Firor said the team at ZeniMax Onine was “steadily working” on the console version which was in a “playable and fun” state at the studio.

“There’s still some work to do before we can set an official launch date,” wrote Firor in the director’s letter.

In the letter he reiterated that the console versions of ESO were “not just ports” of the PC and Mac MMO, and that the PC user interface has been replaced with a console-specific UI designed from the ground-up with “a controller and a living room play experience in mind.”

The MMO was recently pulled from EB Games shelves in Australia.

Having bought this game day one and being a steady player to this day, this is a magnificent game, and i highly recommend it. DON'T buy into the hater/skyrim band wagoners. if you are a true Elder scrolls fan, you will enjoy the game. They have VASTLY improved SO much on the PC i can even begin to explain it, and with the new update coming out soon, i couldn't be more excited.

Yeah its was not the way i wanted it.. I wanted it to be way more skyrim like but co op but no they **** it up

Played the beta, will probably buy the game but I hate the hassle of maintaining subscriptions so I can see this easily collecting dust on the shelf.
