Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Exo Zombies trailer released

Sledgehammer Games has released a new Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Exo Zombies trailer.

The video's official description also offers a little more info on the story behind the zippy zombie breakout: "Untrained and unprepared, four Atlas employees must survive a horror unlike any other. John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan, and Jon Bernthal star in Exo Zombies, coming to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare DLC in 2015."

The first chapter of Exo Zombies will be included with the Havoc DLC pack in January, or as part of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Season Pass, it was announced in November.

Sledgehammer has promised a completely new take on the CoD Zombies formula. "As things were wrapping up around launch, we started playing around with the idea of what happens when zombies were thrown into the mix with exoskeleton gameplay," said Sledgehammer in a statement accompanying the announcement trailer.

"What we came up with is Exo Zombies - an entirely new breed of zombies and an entirely new co-op experience that is truly unique to Advanced Warfare."

I'm not really excited about this. I'm all about Treyarch's zombies not this.

I'm going to keep an open mind about this mode. I'm used to Treyarch's zombies mode rather than this new 'Exo Zombies'. Hopefully it lives up to the anticipation.

I'm cautiously optimistic about this new mode. I already bought the season pass so I will see when this comes out. It seems to me like it might be a lot more fast paced and intense then Treyarch zombies because in the trailer there seemed to be A LOT of zombies coming at you really fast. I am really curious to know how the weapons system is going to work, if it is going to be guns on the ground you pick up or will keep the whole armory systems like there is currently in survival.

It's nice that they came up with this idea but I think they have to leave zombies up to Treyarch.

I like that they added zombies but I hate that it is "exo" I wish it was just Classic zombies.

lolohnoeszsz This really isn't zombies. Just survival with zombie enemies. There is no pack-a-punch none of that amazing stuff Treyarch does.

Its funny they also copied the glowing eyes for the zombies..

Dang SH, gotta copy games to make your terrible game look better.
And yes, I have this crap on my RGH and Xbone.

This isn't a bad game. It's not great, but it is decent.
You have no idea what to expect from the zombie mode.
I don't think that its just exo with zombies. That is just speculation. The zombie round on rout is just a precursor to the new mode. If they are gonna throw around "Zombies" with call of duty involved, it will be just like Tryarch zombie, or better. Activision would not chance ruining one of their most popular modes.
