Advanced Warfare information revealed ahead of game's release next week

Sledgehammer Games studio head Glen Schofield has expressed his disappointment following a pre-release Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare leak.

MP1st reports that plenty of new details were revealed ahead of schedule via a gameplay livestream of a pre-release copy of the shooter.

While the livestream was shut down, the game reportedly features a new 30 Killstreak called the DNA Bomb, while players can also toggle a 'Paintball Effects' option.

The game will ship with 12 multiplayer modes. According to Charlie Intel, all 14 multiplayer map names and Hardcore modes have also been leaked, in addition to all guns, attachments and exo abilities.

From a human point of view I can see why it's a little disappointing, like he says working on a project for 2-3 years and then a week before you release it to show the world it's been 'stolen' as he put it and people see it early..

However this is the gaming industry, he's gunna have to get used to it...

The leakages have actually pushed me towards the game a little.
Still not going to get it, at least not at its $89.99 pricetag.

Just getting more people interested in buying it. tbh.

-Swift He had to know that this was going to happen. But honestly Im surprised it took as long as it did for the game to leak.

But they did a great job keep the game locked up.

took as long as it did? about 95% of games leak only 4 or so days before the release. this is 8-9 days out (depending on how long he had it before live stream)

Ghosts leaked 9 days, BO2 leaked 7 days, and Halo 4 leaked a good 3 weeks prior to launch. I was expecting a 10 day prior leak.

I guess it's not a huge leak, but still a leak is a leak.

halo 4 doesnt really count in this category lol. all those cods that leaked were because of a shipping error or something. halo 4 was a stolen copy which is why everyone who played got banned because they new it was people who downloaded the stolen copy

nober555 The only reason he is mad is because he's worried people are going to find out how **** it is and not want to buy it.

I beg to differ, I see potential in this game tbh with you.

Lol, it's call of duty.. When has it ever not been leaked a week before release?

Oh boo hoo hoo, my bet is on them leaking the information themselves to try and bring in some more sales as the outlook is pretty bleak at the moment.

I thought they would be more worried about the game being leaked early and people say how shit it is.

It isn't that big of a deal. We are so close to AW that it really doesn't matter.

Admitting you've taken 3 years on a game could go down terribly wrong if this game sucks. But I understand, but then again people are still going to buy the game. Unlike with music when it leaks people just keep the leaked version.
