Borderlands The Pre-Sequel launch trailer counts down

2K Games marks The Final Countdown to Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel with a new trailer scored by Europe's pop metal classic.

The video sets the stage for Handsome Jack's lunar uprising and reintroduces the team of four Vault Hunters leading the charge: Athena the Gladiator, Wilhelm the Enforcer, Nisha the Lawbringer and Claptrap the Fragtrap.

The Borderlands The Pre-Sequel release date is Tuesday in the US and Friday in Europe on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

A four-piece DLC season pass will launch alongside the game, offering new characters, missions and weapons.

I have not played much of the Borderlands series.

But this really does peak my interest.

ODST While I loved Borderlands 2, I"m not gonna make the same mistake this time of buying the game at launch. The borderlands titles have a very steep drop in price about 6 months after release, going so far as to 70% off for the game and the season pass. I'm gonna hold out.

While you're probably right, I'm pretty tired of destiny so I may pick this up to hold me over til advanced warfare and/or masterchief collection. The only nuisance is having to go back and forth between consoles.

Evo8 I am so excited for this game, just wish it was for Xbox One.

Yea, I'm actually very surprised that it's not, but at the same time not. They'll probably make more money though if they release it on both, but I can see why they're just releasing it on older gen consoles.
