Standalone white PS4 release date is October 17, Amazon suggests

Amazon UK is listing an October 17 release date for the standalone 'Glacier White' PS4 console.

The online retailer's product listing carries a £351.86 price tag. We've asked Sony to confirm the release date and recommended retail price.

The first commercially available white PS4s released in September as part of a Destiny hardware bundle. A white PS4 DriveClub bundle launched in early October, while a Far Cry 4 one will arrive in November.

Sony Computer Entertainment worldwide studios president Shuhei Yoshida said in July that a standalone version of the white PS4 would be available in Europe this year.

PlayStation Europe boss Jim Ryan announced at Gamescom in August that PS4 sales had reached ten million units worldwide.

The milestone was achieved in less than nine months, with PS4 having launched in November 2013, making the system one of the fastest selling games consoles in history.

The white PS4 looks way better than the original. Same with the Xbox.

Is this just for the UK or the US as well? I'd love to get this if it came out in the US. White just looks so much better on both the Xbox One and PS4.
