Bungie is asking for your feedback on Destiny’s Iron Banner

Destiny’s Iron Banner event has only been live for one day, and players are discovering that -when it comes to gear stats- it’s not working as advertised.

The Iron Banner is a PVP event where your gear and armour stats will carry over to multiplayer and won’t be “balanced” to provide a level playing field, instead, everyone gets to duke it out and see who’s got the best gear.

This isn’t the case though, according to some players. Bungie has heard those comments and is soliciting feedback. “Were you detecting an advantage attributed to your more powerful gear and weapons? Did the experience feel different than standard Crucible combat?” asked community manager Deej.

“Talk to me, Guardians. I know people quit games when they know they won’t win. I’m more curious about your perceptions for how the power-level advantages work. Help me help you.”

It’s worth noting that you currently do not incur any penalties for leaving a Crucible match in-progress.

Same only just started playing aswell

The game is in its prime now. 3.2 million players daily? That's incredible.

I'm fine with the way Iron Banner is right now. I like it a lot better now than the way it was in the beta. I didn't like how in the beta it only lasted for about 2 hours at a time.

Stopped playing after 2 weeks, I was genuinely excited about the game but it's only got about 20 missions and 6 maps online. Not done iron banner as I played it on beta. Nothing special

I don't see the point of playing iron banner, as I don't really enjoy the crucible.

Grimlock I really dont like it because you just go against all the impossible high levels in multiplayer where the other queen wrath was easier. Mostly just a waste of time.

It's actually not that hard. You probably just aren't very good at FPS games in general. I haven't had a lot of time to invest into Destiny still, but went in and played a few games yesterday. I was in the top 3 nearly every game, usually top of my team, just from years experience playing other FPS.
