Call of Duty Advanced Warfare campaign 'longer than the last few'

4.7
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's campaign promises to be longer than those of recent series entries, according to Sledgehammer Games studio head Glen Schofield.

Sledgehammer's first solo entry in the shooter series is said to be set in a plausible future, specifically the year 2054, and stars Kevin Spacey as main antagonist Jonathan Irons.

His character is the boss of Atlas, a private military company which developed nations turn to following a global terrorist attack. Players take on the role of Atlas employee and former US marine Jack Mitchell.

IGN has also published a list of Advanced Warfare's Achievements and Trophies, which are mainly tied to the game's campaign.

On Wednesday, Sledgehammer revealed Advanced Warfare's co-op mode, Exo Survival. It has also been taking the wraps off the title's multiplayer component with a series of reveal videos released this month.

The Call of Duty Advanced Warfare release date is November 4 on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC.

I have always enjoyed the campaigns from the Call of Duty titles, I would go through COD1-3 on the PS2 completing the campaign, and then when I moved on to Xbox 360, I would go through the other campaigns. It was Black Ops II's that turned me off, I still haven't finished it due to the choices and how I like to do one run through and get every achievement, I haven't even played the Ghosts campaign as I haven't really been interested. Hopefully Advanced Warfare's campaign is really interesting and the length is rather decent to allow for more playability.

Glad to hear this, I beat Ghosts a few ago in around 3 hours.

The Campaigns need to be longer to keep the attention.
Believe it or not but the solo players make up a large part of game sales.

Thank god for this, In my personal opinion the campaign of all of the other Call of Duty's has been way to short.
