French website advert may reveal Smash Bros Wii U release date

A French website has discovered that the official Nintendo advertisement at the top of its homepage lists a release date for the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros for Wii U & 3DS.

Puissance Nintendo receives advertising from Nintendo which is placed along the top and sides of the site.

The current ad on the site is a trailer for Hyrule Warriors, but when that ends there is a list of menu items in the ad, including one for other games coming in 2014.

When this option is chosen, an ad for Super Smash Bros for Wii U is shown, along with a release date of November 21.

"You may have noticed a commercial for Hyrule Warriors is currently being broadcast on PN," the site states. "But this ad reveals vital information about Super Smash Bros due out later this winter on Wii U.

"According to Nintendo's advertising, Super Smash Bros for Wii U should land in Europe on November 21."

On Monday, US grocery retail chain Fred Meyer also listed a November 21 release date on product reservation cards ahead of schedule.

The signs point to a potential global or western launch on November 21.

Latency Barely anyone has the WiiU as it is...

Doesn't mean nothing TBH, irrelevant.

Miss I've actually been thinking about getting a Wii U as well as an Xbox One. I'd mainly get it for this game and Mario Kart. Such great games, can't wait for this to release.

You should also look into Yoshis Woolly World for the Wii U if you plan on getting one, its going to be amazing.

I really miss playing Mario on N64. Actually, I'm going to look for my N64 and set it up again for some Mario. I might get one of the newer Nintendo consoles for some Mario games but don't know if it's worth it, I might not even play them that much.
