Advanced Warfare Will have 50 Ranks and 15 Prestige Levels

According to Sledgehammer Games co-founder Michael Condrey, it appears that the studio has settled on the number of ranks and Prestige levels that will be achievable in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s multiplayer.

On Twitter, Schofield tweeted this image of what we think is the 7th Prestige symbol. He also wrote, “50/15,” which sounds a lot like the number of ranks/prestige levels that will be in the game.


Condrey indicated that the team was debating between 10 or 15 Prestige levels earlier last month. Traditionally, most Call of Duty titles hover between 50-55 ranks and around 10 Prestige levels, but it looks like Sledgehammer is upping that Prestige number up to 15.

Sound like a good number to you? Hopefully we can expect some sweet Prestige rewards along the way.

This is a perfect ranking system, not too high of levels.

Tohka This honestly makes the most sense, 50 levels is very simple, although I wish there was only 10 prestige levels, it should be okay.


Then it'll take more xp to level up.

I didn't see this coming. Total **** shock. Oh no, wait...hasn't this been done before? Isn't this the new norm for Call of Duty? It's fine with me though, I doubt I'll hit max prestige unless they put a league/competitive playlist online that gives good XP per win like BO2 did. BO2 and MW2 are the only CoD I had fun prestiging in.

I'd rather it slow ranking up with 10 prestiges like MW2 or WaW where it would take a long time to level up and the rewards at max level were more satisfying (AK-47, M1A1 Carbine etc)

Communism Hmm... 15 prestige's is abit much then having 20 prestige's is just copying mw3 i think they should have just stuck with the normal 10.


Black Ops 1 had 15.

OT: Goodjob Sledgehammer. I'm happy that they're following with what Treyarch did, considering Treyarch makes the best CoD games. Hopefully this turns out nothing like what IW did to the CoD franchise.
