Destiny update released, may force player log out

4.7
Bungie has released a title update for Destiny, it announced on Monday.

Specifics for the update or any changes that it makes have yet to be announced, but the developer has issued a warning for anyone who experiences a connection error as the update is rolled out.

"Pardon our dust! Destiny is being updated. You will be returned to the title screen to install a title update and will be able to continue playing afterwards," says the PSA.

This comes after Destiny received a significant game update at launch. "The Day One patch for Destiny contains a number of changes to Weapons, Builds, Talents, Maps, Activities, Achievements, Progression, game stability and UI," explained Bungie at the time.

Bungie plans to add a substantial amount of new content to the game in the form of at least two paid expansions, the first of which is planned to go live in December.

Miss Why don't they just make it to where you don't get forced to sign out.

There are all hungry for the money that's why

I'm sorry but this is the wrongest comment I've ever seen.

How does giving an update to a game make them money hungry?
I would love to see how.

I agree, plus all companys are here to make money doesnt make them money hungry

What is the point in having a massive company like that, they make money. Thats the aim of the game, nothing hungry about it.

I've heard mixed things about Destiny, really wanted to try it out after the beta but not sure whether to yet, especially with the upcoming games!

A week old game with bugs and issues. That's not good. Game looks horrible, dull and boring anyway. I definitely won't be buying it and it's not going to surprise me when this game dies down, much like Ghosts, Titanfall and GTA V did.

It was annoying while it lasted, I could connect to games and then when connected to the games it could kick me out.

Glad the problem is fixed, enjoying the game again now. :)

I have to agree with -Swift. How on earth does updating a game make you money hungry?
