Microsoft has revamped its Xbox Live Rewards program

4.6
Xbox Live Rewards have been revamped with incentives such as MyMissions and MyStats.

Broken down by Game Informer, these are just some of the new ways for players to earn credits.

Users will now also earn stars and larger discounts and the more you spend, the more stars you will earn.

With MyMissions, users can track earning opportunities across Xbox One and Xbox 360 and MyStats will help track your Xbox Live usage against friends and the global community.

There’s also the Refer a Friend program which will accumulate credits: when a referred friend buys an Xbox Live Gold sub, the referrer will earn 1,000 credits.

Users will also earn rewards for completing Punchcards, taking surveys, spending in the Xbox Store, and once they earn 5,000 Rewards Credits, they will be converted to local currency and deposited into the user’s Microsoft account.

Rewards can be redeemed for games, movies, TV shows and other options available through the Xbox Store.

There’s more information on the revamped rewards program over on the official website.

This has been around for a long time and you will have to spend at least $100 to get $5 back in credit . Surveys give you 250 points every month 250*12=3000 , so you get $3 back per year if you remember to fill out all of their surveys. In my opinion this is a waste of time.

Oasis Half this stuff has been available for ages. The problem is, unless you spend silly amounts every month you'll hardly ever see any rewards.

Well the rewards are supposed to be a nice addition. I don't buy much, but when I finally get the 5k points ($5) I get excited to just see and extra $5 in my account. Which I wouldn't have had before this rewards program. I work at Best Buy and their with the rewards points for every $250 you spend, you get $5. Which isn't a lot. But when you buy a $4000 TV, that is about $80 back which is just a nice incentive to get the rewards account which is free to have.

Free Money, even if very little, I am happy.

This seems like a fairly good addition, however I can see us receiving a small amount if points for each thing purchased.

Almost have 1K saved up already, might save it until I get to that 5K.
