Xbox Live service alert hits Xbox One, Friends lists, Game Invites down

4.6
Here's what the latest Xbox Live service alert does say: "Xbox members, are you having trouble viewing the online state and activity of other users on your Friends list? As you read this message, we’re doing our best to get things back to normal right away. Thanks for your patience and feel free to check back in 30 minutes for an update."

The alert may stop you doing one or all of the following while playing games on Xbox 360 and Xbox One: Managing friends lists and tracking what friends are doing

With the release of Minecraft Xbox One today all we can do is blame 4J Studios and Mojang at this time.

Update
We’re aware that some of you are having a tough time uploading and viewing Game DVR clips while others are unable to view the online state and activity of other users on their Friends list. You can rest assured knowing that we’re diligently working to correct both of these issues as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience in the meantime, Xbox members! Another update is coming your way in half an hour.

FriskyPanda why are people telling microsoft to get better servers? You have to be an ignorant fool to say that.
Yeah man. Instead of tell them to upgrade lets just have limited service on the one every other week. Sounds great right?

Sorry but i can't stand service disruption it's annoying.

i dont see how its annoying it barely effects anyone if it doesn its for 5 minutes
5 minutes? Mine lasted for about 30 minutes.

well compare that to how long ps users have to wait
Honestly i'd rather have service go down for a day than every every other week. Why was this never a problem on the X360?

I'm literally paying $60 a year on a $500 system for constant service interruptions. GG MS.

Well i quess you better switch to ps

It's funny i actually wanted the ps4. But of course i have friends that are too loyal to MS.

The only problem I have been having for the last week is not having the ability to decline friends request.
Pretty annoying
