Pre-order Destiny on Xbox One, get launch-day delivery, $10 gift card

Those interested in a boxed Xbox One copy of Destiny can snag a few extra perks by pre-ordering this week through the Microsoft Store. Pre-order before September 5 at 5PM ET to lock down launch-day delivery, and all Microsoft pre-orders come with a $10 gift card in digital code form.

Those who opt for a digital Xbox One version of Destiny are able to download the game's data before its release on September 9. This won't unlock the game early, but you'll be ready to roll when everything goes live on launch day.

Best Buy gives you $10 back and 20% off new games. Each new game comes to $38 +tax.

Miss $10 code for Xbox or a gift card for their website/stores? I'd prefer the Xbox card honestly and I hope it is that. Than I might pre-order it.

$10 gift card on Microsoft store = Xbox games store, as the gift card would go into your Microsoft account. Ever since they changed MSP to currency, money on your Microsoft account can be used on xbox. At least, I've been under that impression.

Would I be allowed to preorder, get the $10 gift card, AND be able top predownload the game? It's not that big of a deal because I won't even have internet during the weekday, but I was just wondering this as I prefer digital over physical.
